Vibe & Atmosphere
The color grading was spot-on, making it feel like it was shot in the exact same cinematic universe as the 1993 original. From the moment the gates open, the whole film just feels right - same world, same wonder, bigger scale.
The Score & Cameos
The music hit all the iconic emotional beats right when it needed to. Plus, the quick, fun cameos were brilliant - shoutout to Jimmy Buffett sprinting away from pteranodons while double-fisting two margaritas. Priority status: intact.
The Cast
Chris Pratt as Owen Grady was a 10/10 performance - he nailed the rugged, raptor-whispering hero. It was also great seeing "Opie" all grown up (Ron Howard) with his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard taking the lead and doing a fantastic job. Bringing back original cast members made the passing of the torch feel earned.

You can tell the production design "spared no expense." The film was packed with threaded homages that respected the original story rather than just copying it:

If I had one complaint, it's the plot's insistence on "genetically modifying" a hybrid dinosaur just to keep park visitors interested. It's a freaking dinosaur - you already have our undivided attention! We don't need a mutant to be amazed.

Yeah, the movie has a few plot holes. But let's be real for a second: the original 1993 Jurassic Park had plot holes too (looking at you, sudden 100-foot drop inside the T-Rex paddock). What matters is the storytelling. It makes you believe, even for just two hours, that this world is real and we were given the privilege to peek inside it.
